The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said its officers took a female teen into custody in relation to a firearm seizure on Wellington Street in Spanish Town, St Catherine, yesterday, February 19.
It explained: “Reports are that, about 11:50pm, lawmen were in the area when they saw the teen who aroused their suspicion. She was accosted, searched and one Browning 9 millimetre was found in a bag she was carrying. She has been subsequently taken into custody.”
The JCF stated that the identity of the teen is being withheld.
