Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) caretaker in the Lluidas Vale Division of the St Catherine Municipal Corporation, Joel Williams, will take on one of the most ambitious and challenging projects in the division on Labour Day, next week Thursday, May 23.

He told The Beacon that he, along with his team, will clean the Lluidas Vale Cemetery, starting at 9AM.

“Our Labour Day project is to clean up the cemetery and paint the wall. I just took four weed whackers down there, and I bought the paint and everything. We are all set for Labour Day,” Williams said.

He further said: “The Lluidas Vale Cemetery is in a deplorable condition… There is a lot of work to be done.”

Williams added that he is planning to undertake other projects throughout the division as time progresses.
