ST. CATHERINE: Cops identify four shot dead in Kitson Town

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) has released the identities of the four people who were shot dead last evening, December 10, at Dover Square in Kitson Town, St. Catherine.

They are:

  • Gladstone Grange, otherwise ‘Bigga’, a 67-year-old truck driver from Lot 80 in Spring Garden, St Catherine.
  • Patricia King, 49, from Dover district, St Catherine.
  • Dennis Pryce, otherwise called ‘Ninja’, a 46-year-old labourer from Dover district, St Catherine.
  • Marcus White, otherwise called ‘Beba’, a 38-year-old haulage contractor from Cherry district, St. Catherine.

The JCF said: “Reports are that, about 9:25PM, a group of armed men opened fire at several business establishments.

“The police were summoned and, on their arrival, nine persons were seen with gunshot wounds. They were taken to hospital where four of the victims were pronounced dead while the others – ranging between the ages of 31 to 45 – are being treated in hospital,” added the JCF.

It said senior detectives assigned to the Major Investigation Division are probing the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
