Kerdell Bailey Pinnock, 104, of Sandy River near Kellits in Clarendon, was born Friday, 28 January 1921, at Christiana, Manchester.
She had five siblings – all of whom predeceased her.
Kerdell did mainly farming to take care of her family, including her five children: Denzil, Marva, Celma, Dane and Norris who are all still alive.
Her husband, Liam Pinnock, passed away in 1975 – half of a century ahead of her.
Kerdell made a peaceful transition from mortality on Thursday, 17 April 2025, at University Hospital of the West Indies in St Andrew.
She was, above all, a God-fearing woman who worshiped at St. Peter’s Anglican Church in Rhoden Hall, near her community of Sandy River.
That’s the same church where the service of thanksgiving for her life will be held on Saturday, 31 May 2025, commencing 11AM. Interment follows in the family plot, Sandy River.
