No one was injured when an oil tanker went up in flames in St Catherine last evening, March 13, a personnel at the Linstead Fire Station told The Beacon, adding that the driver was the only person in the said vehicle.

The incident, which unfolded on a section of the Edward Seaga Highway in the vicinity of the Linstead exit, significantly affected traffic.

Normality, however, has been restored on said highway connecting St Ann and St Catherine.
