St Ann man charged for cocaine

The Jamaica Constabulary Force said its Narcotics Division has arrested and charged a man for Breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act at the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston on Sunday, March 3.

The accused is 50-year-old Oral Willis from St Ann’s Bay, St Ann.

He is charged with:

Possession of cocaine

Dealing in cocaine

Importing cocaine

The JCF said: “Reports are that, during security checks, Willis was stopped, interviewed and based on his responses he was detained.

“Willis was subsequently taken to a medical facility where he was examined. He subsequently expelled 102 homemade capsules containing white substance resembling cocaine weighing approximately 2.2 pounds and has an estimated street value of 1.1 million dollars,” the JCF further claimed.

Willis is to appear in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Wednesday, March 13.
