The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said two men died following a motorcycle collision on the Prospect main road in Westmoreland on Saturday, November 3.

They are 29-year-old hotel worker Tean Collin from Church Lincoln district in Westmoreland and 29-year-old Kerol Bernard from Prospect district in the parish.

The JCF explained: “Reports from the Frome Police are that, about 10:45am, Collin was driving a motorcycle in a northerly direction along the main road. It is alleged that, while attempting to overtake a parked motor truck, he collided into Bernard who was also driving a motorcycle in the opposite direction.

“Both motorcyclists sustained injuries and were taken to hospital where they both died while undergoing treatment,” added the JCF.

It noted that the investigation is continuing.
