Teen dies in Manchester crash

Seventeen-year-old Tarique Davis from Davyton district in Manchester died of injuries he received in a motor vehicle collision on Chantilly main road in the parish on Thursday, January 24, according to the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF).

It further said: “Reports from the Mandeville Police are that, about 3pm, Davis was travelling in a westerly direction along the main road when he allegedly collided in the rear of a motor truck, which was travelling in the opposite direction. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.”

Investigations are ongoing, added the JCF.
