Farmer’s decomposing body found with wound in St Mary

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said detectives are investigating the death of 60-year-old farmer Michael Gordon, otherwise called Country, from the White Spring area of Windsor in the parish.

It said reports are that a relative who was walking along a dirt track smelt a foul odour yesterday (June 15), went to investigate, and found Gordons’s decomposing body.

It had wounds to the head, the JCF said, adding that relatives last saw Gordon alive on Tuesday, June 12.

Investigations are continuing.
