UPDATE: Cops release more info as search intensifies for murder suspect

The St Catherine North Police have released more informtion about the murder for which 35-year-old Alvin ‘Kevin’ Messam has been listed as wanted.

Messam is from McGregor Lane in Spanish Town, St Catherine.

He is accused of murdering 44-year-old Clarence Clarke in Whitewater Meadows in the parish on Saturday, April 28.

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said: “It is alleged that, after visiting the home of the mother of his children and getting into a fight with Clarke, Messam then attacked him and chopped him several times as he walked along Whitewater Boulevard.”

“Detectives are renewing their appeal for anyone knowing the whereabouts of Alvin Messam to contact them at 984-2305, Crime Stop at 311, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station,” added the JCF, which also released the above photo of Messam.
