The Dinthill Technical High School footballer who was rushed to Linstead Public Hospital in St Catherine after suffering an injury during a football match two Saturdays ago is yet to return to school due to the said injury.

Elijah Siddon was stretchered off a wet playing field at Charlemont High School on September 28 while playing a first-round match against Charlemont in the ISSA/WATA daCosta Cup Football Competition.

“He is now out of the hospital and is recuperating,” said Monica White, principal at Dinthill Technical High.

She further told The Beacon that, based on conversations she had with the student’s mother, Siddon ‘has an injury to the foot’.

White added: “We are in contact with the mother, and we are in contact with him (Siddon) as well.”
