The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said 31-year-old taxi operator Kemar Anglin died on Friday after he and three other people – including a child – were shot in the Treadways area of Linstead, St Catherine.
The shooters, who the JCF said travelled in a motorcar, opened fire on the four while they were walking in Treadways shortly before 9 o’clock on the evening of Thursday, January 31.
It’s understood that Kemar was taken to Linstead Hospital and then transferred to Spanish Town Hospital where he died.
The three people still nursing gunshot wounds include a 58-year-old man and a three-year-old girl, the JCF said.
Kemar was murdered a few days after he attended the funeral service for his twin brother, Omar ‘Flour’ Anglin, who was shot dead at a bar in the Bermady area of Treadways in Linstead on December 27 last year.
