The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said an investigation is underway into the partial scrapping of a motor vehicle left at Bridgeport Police Station in St Catherine.

The JCF, in a two-sentence release, said: “The Inspectorate of Constabulary, along with the St Catherine South Police, have commenced a top-level investigation in an incident at the Bridgeport Police Station where a car, which was involved in an accident, was left at the station for safe-keeping was partially scrapped.”

It further stated that additional updates will be provided.
