The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) has appealed for information regarding a gun attack that left three people dead at a plaza in Williamsfield, Westmoreland, late Monday night, February 25.

Two other persons were shot and wounded.

Those killed are 34-year-old Corey Parkins from Cascade in Hanover, 23-year-old Coran Birch from Woodsville in Hanover, and 21-year-old Jahmar Warren from Grange district in Westmoreland.

The JCF said: “Reports are that, about 11:15pm, the men were among patrons at a bar located at a plaza in the parish, when four armed men alighted from a Toyota Voxy motor vehicle, entered the premises, and opened gunfire.

“The police were summoned and, on their arrival, the victims – three men and two women – were taken to hospital. Parkins, Birch and Warren were pronounced dead while the women have been admitted,” added the JCF.

It further stated that anyone with pertinent information should contact the Whithorn Police at 876-957-7713, police 119 emergency number, Crime Stop at 311, or the nearest police station.
