After probing a case of murder and wounding for three years, the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) has finally laid charges against a man.

The man killed is 33-year-old craft vendor Kenroy Brown, otherwise called Kiddy, from Rack in Trelawny. Another man was wounded in the incident.

The accused is 47-year-old Fabian Colley from Cyrus Road in Lodge, St Ann. He has been charged with murder and wounding with intent.

The JCF said: “On June 03, 2016, a group of men were at a bar when two men armed with guns opened fire at them. Brown and another man were shot and injured. They were taken to hospital where Brown succumbed to his injuries.”

Colley is to appear before the Falmouth Parish Court on Friday, September 27. The JCF did not disclose if the second suspect has been apprehended.
