Riversdale vendor stabbed to death over money owed to him

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said 36-year-old higgler Vinton Stephenson from Berick district in Riversdale, St Catherine, was stabbed and killed on Saturday, December 8.

The incident happened on Main Street, Bog Walk, in St Catherine.

The JCF said: “Reports are that, about 6:15pm, Stephenson was arguing with another man – allegedly over money owed to him, when the man reportedly stabbed Stephenson with a knife. He was taken to the hospital, where he died while being treated.”

The JCF said the accused man is on the run, adding that the Bog Walk Police are conducting further investigations.
