Kumani Riley has brought immense pride and joy not only to her household, but also to Campion College and her Above Rocks community in St Catherine.
She, in fine style, attained Grade One (the best grade possible) in the 10 CSEC subjects she sat this year.
As it relates to grade profile, Riley scored a whopping 30 ‘A’ and a single ‘B’.
The Caribbean Examination Council disclosed that, based on preliminary results, the academic champion attained the following subjects and grades:
Mathematics – Grade One
English A – Grade One
English B (Literature) – Grade One
Spanish – Grade One
French – Grade One
Physics – Grade One
Biology – Grade One
Chemistry – Grade One
Geography – Grade One
Information Technology – Grade One
Riley, who will pursue further studies at Campion College sixth form, is justifiably elated.
“I am extremely elated. I feel blessed to have been successful in my examinations,” she told The Beacon.
“It is a pleasure to make my family, friends, and teachers proud.”
Riley, who is an aspiring forensic scientist or software engineer, indicated that her success resulted mainly from hard work and dedication.
“I worked hard consistently throughout the entire time of my studies, and always aimed for perfect grades. Therefore, it lessened the pressure during the examination review period,” added the achiever, who is the daughter of Errol Riley and Sherron Parchment.
