Painter shot dead in Spanish Town

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said a 32-year-old painter from Brunswick Avenue in Spanish Town, St Catherine, was shot dead in his community yesterday, March 11.

He is Keagan Lawrence.

The JCF said: “Reports from the Spanish Town Police are that, about 8PM, residents heard gunshots and called them.

“The team that responded found Lawrence’s body lying on the roadway beside a Toyota Axio motor car; he had been shot in the head. The crime scene was processed and the body was moved to the morgue,” added the JCF.

It noted that the investigation is continuing.
