Man nabbed for fatal stabbing in Kingston

The Jamaica Constabulary Force said 24-year-old Edward Beason from Fleet Street in Kingston died as a result of stab wounds he received on Arnold Road in Kingston yesterday, February 11.

One man was taken into custody.

The JCF added: “Reports from the Central Police are that, about 3:30pm, Beason was sitting on a chair at the mentioned location when he got into an argument with another man.

“It is alleged that a knife was used to inflict a wound to the deceased’s abdomen. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead,” the JCF further said.

It added that investigations are continuing.
