The JCF explained: “Reports are that, about 12:45am [on September 18], armed men kicked open the door to Nelson’s home and shot him multiple times. Another occupant of the home was also injured during the incident. An investigation was subsequently launched by lawmen which led to the arrest of McIntosh.”

The JCF further stated that McIntosh is also charged with illegal possession of firearm and ammunition as well as wounding with intent.

He is to appear before the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on December 6.

Nelson, at the time of his death, was a member of Akan Track Club.
