LLUIDAS VALE: Gunmen invade bar in Top Hill, shoot two men
January 13, 2018The peaceful community of Cock Crow in Top Hill, St Catherine, has been plunged into shock and fear after gunmen invaded a bar few hours before daybreak today, 13 January 2018, leaving two men with gunshot wounds.
The two victims have been taken to hospital.
At least one of them is said to be in serious condition. He is both hearing and speech impaired and resides in the neighbouring district called Pennington.
That Pennington resident was shot in the bar while the other victim was shot in the vicinity of the business establishment.
The gunmen escaped.
The community where the incident unfolded is located in the Lluidas Vale police area, which, within the last few months, has been seeing an upsurge in serious crimes.
Recently, persons burglarized a shop that a Chinese couple has been operating in the Lluidas Vale town centre for several years.
