Cops release photo of man wanted in motor vehicle fraud

The Criminal Investigation Branch Headquarters has released the photograph of a man who it said has been listed as wanted for numerous counts of Fraudulent Conversion.

He is 35-year-old Kirk Baker, whose last known addresses are 2 East in Greater Portmore, St Catherine, as well as Wilkinson Drive, Patrick City in Kingston 20.

The Jamaica Constabulary Force said: “It is alleged that Baker entered into agreements with prospective clients to supply motor vehicles. He reportedly collected large sums of money, but never delivered any vehicles.”

“Detectives are appealing for anyone knowing the whereabouts of Kirk Baker to contact the Criminal Investigation Branch Headquarters at 929-9256, Fraud Squad at 948-5983, police 119 emergency number, or the nearest police station,” added the JCF.
