Cops appeal for Mavado to surrender
June 5, 2018The Constant Spring police have issued a public appeal for Dancehall artiste David ‘Mavado’ Brooks from Norbrook in St Andrew to report to the station by midday tomorrow, June 6.
It also said the artiste is a ‘person of interest’.
“The police believe he can assist with an ongoing investigation,” said the Corporate Communications Unit of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF). It added: “Call 924-1421 if you know his whereabouts.”

The appeal comes after Mavado, on Saturday, had an altercation with men in the Cassava Piece area of St Andrew where he was raised.
During that incident, a man allegedly fired shots at the artiste, forcing him to flee the community. He was unharmed.
Meanwhile, a male resident of the community was murdered on Saturday, and another murdered and then set ablaze this morning.
