Clarendon farmer murdered | car found abandoned

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said 45-year-old farmer Rhon Edwards from New Road district in Turner, Clarendon, was shot and killed at his home on Sunday, March 24.

It said: “Reports from the May Pen Police are that, about 3:10PM, citizens heard explosions and summoned them. On arrival of the lawmen, Edwards was seen lying on the floor of his house with his hands and feet bound in a pool of blood. He was pronounced dead at hospital.

“His attacker/s escaped using his Nissan Cube motorcar, which was later found abandoned in an adjoining community,” added the JCF, which noted that investigations are continuing.
