Twins arrested after fire destroys mother's house in Manchester

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said 89-year-old Basil Coley from Pert Close in Mandeville is believed to have committed suicide at his home yesterday, June 6.

The Mandeville police stated that, about 8:30am, Coley reportedly locked himself inside his house and set it ablaze.

The police and fire departments were summoned and, on their arrival, cooling down exercise was conducted.

The house was later searched and the charred remains of Coley were found among the rubble, said the JCF, which also noted that investigations are continuing.
