The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said two men involved in a fight this week on South Parade in downtown Kingston have been stabbed – one fatally.

The deceased is 52-year-old Micheal Findley, an unemployed resident of Mandela Terrace in Kingston 11.

The JCF said: “Reports are that, about 8PM [on Thursday, April 25], Findley was involved in a dispute with another man when knives were brought into play, and both men were stabbed in the upper body.

“The police were summoned and they were taken to hospital where Findley was pronounced dead and the other man admitted in stable condition,” the JCF further said.

It noted that investigations are continuing.
