Teen shot dead in Portmore

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said 19-year-old student Carlton Brown from Braeton in Portmore, St Catherine, died after being shot several times in his community yesterday, February 11.

It further stated that, based on reports from the Portmore Police, Brown was sitting along the roadway about 7pm when men armed with guns approached him.

“One of the men opened gunfire hitting him several times. Brown was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead,” the JCF further said.
