Two constables serving the Lluidas Vale area of the St Catherine North Police Division have been commended for their effort in helping to mould young minds at Lluidas Vale Primary School.
Their effort is made easier with the school being nextdoor the police’s temporary base in the community.
When the educational institution hosted its annual Boys’ Day last Friday, Constables Andre Allen and Kavaughn Williams were given certificates for their contribution. They not only showed up to interact with the boys; they sponsored some of the items used to make the day a success.
Constable Allen is also the officer assigned to the school.
One of the teachers who organized the Boys’ Day activities, Teika-Gay Comrie-Burrell, said the constables usually spend time motivating especially the boys and instilling discipline in them whether or not it is Boys’ Day.
