PHOTO: Ms St Elizabeth 2017 awarded for service

The Rotaract Club of St Andrew recently awarded Miss Jamaica Festival Queen 2017, Dainalyn Swaby, for her outstanding contribution to the club’s service projects during her reign.

The 25-year-old Festival Queen, who created history by being the first winner from the parish of St Elizabeth, was also inducted as a member of the club on March 7.

During the awards ceremony at The Knutsford Court Hotel in New Kingston, President of the Rotaract Club of St Andrew Sherika Watson also announced that Swaby has been appointment to the Board of the club.

Her appointment as Professional Development Director is for the 2018/2019 Rotaract year, which started on July 1.
