Man allegedly murders 80-year-old father in St Elizabeth
January 8, 2019The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said a man allegedly murdered his 80-year-old father from Merrywood district in St. Elizabeth yesterday, January 7.
The deceased is Egeton Young, a farmer.
The JCF said: “Reports are that, about 3pm, a relative went to visit Young and found him with what appears to be a wound to his face.
“The police were alerted and, on their arrival, Young was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead. One man was taken into custody in relation to this incident,” added the JCF.
It stated that detectives attached to the Black River Police are conducting further investigations.
