Lluidas Vale: Juvenile reach final | Blackpool whip All Stars

October 16, 2018 0 By Horace Mills

Juvenile had big reasons to celebrate at nightfall when the final whistle sounded on the Lluidas Vale playing field in St Catherine on a rainy Sunday evening, October 14.

They became the first team to book their spot in the final of the Lluidas Vale Corner League.

The squad edged Police 3-2; a scoreline that reflects the keenness of the contest.

Alrick Rhoden scored the first goal in the 21st minute, putting Juvenile ahead. Kadery Fa scored in the 55th minute and Romaine Buchanan sealed Juvenile’s victory in the 63rd.

Police, who put on a gallant fight, secured two goals – one from Kenroy Dailey in the 39th minute and the other from Romand Boothe in the 45th minute of the game.

With that semi-final win, Juvenile will next play in the final against either Blackpool or Pennington.

Both teams – Pennington and Blackpool – will clash in the next semi-final match at 3pm on Sunday, October 21.

BlackPool, in the meantime, advanced after beating All Stars 4-0 in the first game played on Sunday. The scorers were Jowayne Wright, Michael Ragon, Marvin White, and Kenyute Mahoney.
