Relative releases photos of deceased, urges killer to surrender

A relative of the three people found dead at a house in Tower Hill, St Andrew, has released photos of the deceased while he noted that the bereaved family is anxious for law enforcers to make a breakthrough.

The deceased are 29 year-old Kashief Jackson and her children – one year-old Aviere Williams and seven day-old Aranza Williams.

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said the mother was found with multiple stab wounds inside her house, while the children were found dead on the verandah on July 18.

The police did not say what may have caused the death of the children.

A cousin of the victims, Nasheer ‘Pickney’ Walters, who is also an artiste, said his aunt has three daughters and Jackson is the youngest.

“Jackson has a great personality, humble, hard working and was very family-oriented,” the cousin told Jamaica Beacon.

“The family is now trying to hold it together.”

Walters said his late cousin, Jackson, is originally from Harmony district in Highgate, St Mary.

He explained that she left St Mary just over five years ago to live with her sister in St Andrew.

While she was there, she met 42-year-old Artnel Williams, who became her children’s father. She moved in to live with him recently.

The common-law-husband, Williams, is reportedly claiming that he left the home a day before the murder, and was working in St Elizabeth.

Reports are that he telephoned Jackson several times, but she did not answer.

That’s when he reportedly sent a relative to check up on the family, and the relative stumbled upon the bodies.

It is understood that another woman, who reportedly has a key to the house where the murder happened, was highly jealous of the relationship Williams shared with Jackson.

Walters, who noted that an investigation is ongoing, urged the killer to surrender.

He added: “No wrong goes unpunished. So, even if you think you got away, your time is at hand – not my words, but God’s plan.”
