Gospel artiste Jodian Pantry has thrown out an appeal for residents of Clarendon Northern to support Member of Parliament Horace Dalley.

She made the appeal last evening, November 10, during the constituency conference of the People’s National Party (PNP), held inside a packed room at Kellits High School.

Pantry, before belting out her best known song titled I’ll Give My Heart, told the audience that she has known Dalley as someone who is always giving.

“I had to be here tonight because I have known Minister Dalley since I was a little girl, and I remember when him used to bother mi mother to take mi outa mi yard as a little fine foot, going around to lift my voice and create this energy in the crowd for everybody to enjoy themselves,” Pantry said.

She continued: “I am in love with this man because, even from a little girl when I didn’t quite understand politics, I saw him serving; I always saw him serving the people; I always saw him giving… I need people to appreciate this man and always show gratitude because a nuh now him deh here, and a nuh now him a strip himself naked to ensure that you are OK.”

Pantry, at different intervals in her electrifying performance, also chanted ‘PNP’. At the end of her presentation, she hugged the party’s President, Dr. Peter Phillips.
