Truck kills 2 youths on separate bikes

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said a fatal collision claimed the lives of two young men from Trelawny yesterday, March 17.

The deceased are 24-year-old Ramone Spence from Wakefield who is pictured above, and Sanjay Richards from Deeside.

The JCF said: “Reports from the Falmouth Police are that, about 9:50PM, a Toyota Hiace motor truck was travelling from Wakefield to Deeside when, upon reaching a section of the roadway, it allegedly collided with two motorcycles, which were travelling in the opposite direction.

“The drivers of the motor cycles sustained several injuries and were transported to hospital where death was confirmed,” the JCF added.

It noted that ‘the driver of the motor truck was breathalysed and warned for prosecution pending further investigations’.
