The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) has appealed for information regarding the whereabouts of Tiffany Murray, who left her St Mary home to seek employment in St James at a hotel that turned out to be non-existent.

Murray, a 27-year-old resident of Palmetto Grove in Highgate, St Mary, has been missing since Saturday, March 16.

She is of brown complexion, slim build, and is about 165 centimetres (5 feet 5 inches) tall.

The JCF said: “Reports from the Port Maria Police are that Murray left home about 9:30AM for Montego Bay, St James, for a job interview. When last seen, she was dressed in a black blouse, floral pants and a pair of black shoes. All efforts to contact her have proven futile.

“Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Tiffany Murray is being asked to contact the Port Maria Police at 876-994-2223, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station,” the JCF further said in a media release.

In the meantime, Alicia Murray, a sister of the missing woman, is reported as saying that Tiffany left home after she got information about an employment opportunity at an establishment called ‘Moonlight Hotel’ in Montego Bay.

Alicia said she later spoke with her sister via telephone, adding that her sister said there was no interview as there was no ‘Moonlight Hotel’ in existence.
