Motorcyclist dies in Clarendon

Thirty-year-old Shaun Shand from Scott’s district in Milk River, Clarendon, died of injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle collision on Scott’s main road yesterday, March 19.

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said: “Reports from the May Pen Police are that, about 5:30AM, Shand who was driving a black Ramco motorcycle allegedly lost control of the motorcycle and collided in the rear of a Toyota Hiace mini bus that was travelling in the same direction.

“Shand was thrown from his motorcycle and received multiple injuries. He was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead,” the JCF further said.
