
Men charged for shooting, fire in Brown’s Hall
November 17, 2019The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said its officers have charged three men with several offences stemming from a case of shooting and arson in Brown’s Hall, St. Catherine, on Wednesday, October 16.
The men are charged with Arson, Wounding With Intent, as well as Illegal Possession of Firearm and Ammunition.
They are:
- Zane Smith, 30, a construction worker of Brown’s Hall
- Demoy Dixon, 29, a labourer of Bellefield district
- Damion Wynter of St. Catherine
The JCF said: “Reports are that, about 8:48PM, the accused men went to the complainant’s home and opened gunfire, hitting him several times before setting his house ablaze. The complainant was taken to hospital where he was treated. The men were later charged. Their court dates will be announced at a later date.”
