Manchester: Man killed at bar
June 3, 2019The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said 53-year-old Andre Dixon from Mike Town district in Mandeville, Manchester, was stabbed to death on Manchester Road in the parish on Saturday, June 1.
A man is in custody.
The JCF said: “Reports from the Mandeville Police are that, about 11:30PM, Dixon was at a bar when an altercation developed between him and another man.
“It is alleged that the man took a knife and inflicted multiple stab wounds to Dixon. The police were summoned, and Dixon was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The man was subsequently arrested. His identity is being withheld pending further investigations,” added the JCF.
