A man originally from the Kellits area of Clarendon has been electrocuted on the job at Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, St. James.

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said the deceased is Triston Rose, also known as Palmer, 28.

He lived at Rhyne Park in St James.

The JCF further stated that the incident transpired shortly after 1 o’clock this morning, December 4.

It told The Beacon: “Apparently, Mr. Rose, who is a labourer, was conducting repairs in a section of the airport when he got caught in a live electrical wire and was electrocuted.”

The JCF said other workmen assisted Rose to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
