The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said its officers in Clarendon are still trying to locate a driver who fled the scene of a bus crash in the Shooter area of Kellits after nightfall on Saturday, October 19.

The law enforcers said they are also yet to ascertain ownership of the vehicle, which is shown in the photo above. The damaged bus is said to be parked at Croft’s Hill Police Station.

The JCF told The Beacon that, based on reports from the Croft’s Hill Police, the vehicle is suspected to have been stolen.

It crashed into a utility pole in the Shooter area, causing the pole to collapse.
