CLARENDON: Funeral director, woman shot dead

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said unknown assailants shot and killed a man and a woman on Manchester Avenue in May Pen, Clarendon, today, April 3.

The deceased man is 26-year-old funeral director at Angels Funeral Home, Kemar Jones, who is a resident of Breezy Castle in May Pen. He is pictured above.

The woman is 47-year-old Sandra Narantha, an unemployed resident of Hayes district in Clarendon.

The JCF said: “Reports from the May Pen Police are that, about 11AM, two men armed with handguns entered a business establishment where Jones and Narantha were, and opened gunfire hitting them.

“The police were alerted, and they (Jones and Narantha) were taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead. Investigations continue,” the JCF further said.
