The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said its officers in Frankfield, Clarendon, are probing the circumstances surrounding the suspected drowning of 10-year-old Maalik Walters from Lampard district in the parish.

The child’s body was found yesterday, April 14, at the Rio Minho, the JCF’s Corporate Communications Unit told The Beacon.

It added: “Reports are that, about 2PM, residents stumbled upon the body and summoned the police. Upon their arrival, the body was removed to the morgue.”

Investigations are continuing, added the JCF.
