Security guard shot dead at workplace in Portmore

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said unknown gunmen shot and killed a security guard at a shopping centre in Greater Portmore, St Catherine, yesterday (December 6).

The deceased is 54-year-old Lincoln Graham from Braeton in Portmore, St Catherine.

The JCF said: “Reports from the Portmore police are that, about 2:10pm, Graham was at work when he went to open the door to the facility after seeing three men outside who aroused his suspicion. One of the gunmen forced him back through the door.

“A struggle ensued between them, during which he was shot. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead,” added the JCF, which noted that investigations are continuing.
