Youth dies after crashing in Spanish Town business

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said a man died of injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle collision along the Wynter’s main road in Spanish Town, St. Catherine, yesterday, November 8.

The deceased is 33-year-old labourer Tyrone Riley from Windsor Road in Spanish Town.

The JCF said: “Reports are that, about 3:15AM, residents heard a loud impact and went to investigate. They reportedly observed that a Nissan Tiida motorcar had crashed into a business establishment.

“The police were summoned and, on the arrival of the lawmen, Riley was seen slumped over the steering wheel. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead,” added the JCF, which noted that investigations are continuing.
