Westmoreland man dies in crash

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said its officers are probing the collision that claimed the life of a man on the Williamsfield main road in Westmoreland yesterday, February 3.

The deceased is 35-year-old farmer Oral Spence from Williamsfield in the said parish.

The JCF said: “Reports from the Savanna-la-Mar Police are that, about 10:50pm, Spence was driving a Hi-Rev motorcycle travelling towards Grange district.

“On reaching a section of the roadway, he allegedly lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a yard. Spence sustained multiple injuries and was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead,” added the JCF.
