Two men shot, one fatally, in St Andrew

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said it is probing the murder of a man and wounding of another during a gun attack on Molynes Road in St Andrew on Friday, November 9.

It said the deceased is 33-year-old Kashief Blair from Hill View Terrace, Kingston 19.

The JCF added: “Reports are that, about 2:20pm, Blair and another man were at a shop when two men – one armed with a gun, reportedly approached them and opened fire.

“The police were summoned and, on their arrival, Blair and the other man were seen with gunshot wounds. They were both taken to hospital where Blair was pronounced dead and the other victim admitted in stable condition,” the JCF further said.

It added that investigations are continuing.
