Surrender now, cops tell man wanted for double murder in St James

The St James Police have listed a man as wanted for the double murder of Duwayne Stenneth and Shane Williams in the parish last month.

He is 30-year-old Everal Stephenson, otherwise called ‘Eva’, from Bronx in Rose Heights, St James.

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said Stephenson is of dark complexion, stout build, and is about 152 centimetres (5 feet) tall.

He should surrender by noon today, April 14, to the Montego Bay Police, said the JCF.

“Citizens are being reminded that it is not only an offence to harbour criminals and provide a safe haven for them, but it also places the lives of family and friends at increased risks of attack,” the JCF continued.

“Anyone who may be able to help the police to locate him (Stephenson) is being asked to contact the investigators at 876-953-6191, Crime Stop at 311, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.”
