St Mary native attains 9 CXC subjects; all Grade Ones

Another beacon, Samelia Roberts, has emerged in the community of Enfield, St Mary.

She recently attained Grade One – the highest grade possible – in nine CSEC subjects, regulated by the Caribbean Examination Council (CXC).

The young scholar accomplished the feat at Immaculate Conception High School, where she will attend sixth form.

Her result slip, shown to The Beacon, bears proof that Roberts attained:

  • Mathematics – Grade One
  • English A – Grade One
  • Chemistry – Grade One
  • Biology – Grade One
  • Spanish – Grade One
  • English B – Grade One
  • Physics – Grade One
  • Food, Nutrition and Health Technical – Grade One
  • Information Technology – Grade One

Roberts, who previously attended Gideon Educational Center in Portland, intends to become a medical doctor.
