The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said its Major Investigation Division has launched a high-level investigation into the shooting death of three people at their home last evening, December 1.

The deceased are 74-year-old Pamela Russell, 48-year-old Shemellia Russell-Craig and 21-year-old Romario Craig.

They are all from Clandon Road in Waterford, St. Catherine, where the incident happened.

The JCF said: “Reports are that, about 9:20PM, all three persons were inside their house when they were pounced upon by armed men, posing as robbers who opened fire hitting them.

“The police were alerted and they were taken to hospital where Russell and Craig were pronounced dead, while Russell-Craig died while being treated,” added the JCF.

The deceased, in the meantime, are relatives of Jamaica Labour Party caretaker for the Waterford Division, Krisho Holmes. His grandmother is among the victims.
