ST ANN: Taxi operator shot dead

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said unknown assailants have fatally shot 27-year-old taxi operator Adrian Tracey from Shaw Park in Ocho Rios, St Ann.

Tracey was gunned down in his community on Wednesday, January 9.

The JCF said: “Reports from the Ocho Rios Police are that, about 11pm, residents heard explosions and summoned the police. On their arrival, Tracey was seen slumped over in the front passenger side of his motor vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to hospital and pronounced dead.”

Investigations are continuing, added the JCF.
